The Quilted Moto

Jacket pictured is Black Cowhide with double gunmetal zippers and black lining. Jacket features snap collar, two zippered hand pockets, two zippered chest pockets, adjustable zippered wrists, quilted shoulders, and quilted elbows. Jacket on model is lambskin.

FULL GRAIN LEATHER | All jackets are made with the best quality Grade A Full Grain 100% leather.

TWO INTERIOR POCKETS | All jackets come with two sizeable interior pockets, one zipped, one slip.

ALL METAL HARDWARE | We only use highly durable YKK brand hardware (zippers, studs and snaps) made with stainless steel.

LINING CHOICES | Our base lining choices are 100% polyester for durability, ease of wear and the number of colors available. We also offer high-end cupro/rayon in black which is incredibly soft, and breathes nicely.

STITCHING QUALITY | We only use Bonded Nylon 6-6 #92 in our jackets. It won't degrade or fray over time like most cotton threads used today.

Quality Craftsmanship Takes Time

Customize Your Quilted Moto

Step 1 | Choose Your Leather Color

Step 2 | Choose Your Hardware Color

All of our jackets are made with highly durable, industry tested YKK brand hardware from Japan.

Step 3 | Choose Your Lining Color

Choose from a variety of colored, patterned and quilted linings to best compliment your unique sense of style. Note: Blended Cupro only comes in black.

Step 4 | Select Your Leather and Lining Types

COWHIDE | Stiff, durable, and takes time to break-in. Provides serious protection and attitude.
GOATSKIN | Lighter than cow leather and nearly as durable. Worn famously by bomber pilots in WWII for warmth and protection.
LAMBSKIN | Incredibly soft and buttery smooth. Typical choice for modern fashion jackets. Drapes well on the body and takes very little time to break-in.

100% POLYESTER | 100% Polyester is the standard lining you'll find today in leather jackets. Famous brands like Schott, AllSaints and FalconGarments all use polyester. It's tough, sleek, and comes in a variety of colors.
BLENDED CUPRO/RAYON | Also known as Bemberg. It's used mostly in high end suits for it's breathability, softness, and luxorious feel. Due to it's high cost we currently only offer it in black.

The Quilted Moto

The moto jacket began as a light weight motorcycle jacket in post-WWII England. Also known as the café racer, this type of jacket was sported by former soldiers racing between local pubs and cafés on souped-up prewar motorbikes. Traveling at times in excess of 100 MPH on the trails that passed for roads at the time, the riders needed a streamlined, minimalist leather racing jacket. The moto jacket’s simplistic design avoids unnecessary detailing like epaulets or large lapels. Like the motorbikes these riders raced on, the moto jacket has become a symbol of speed, status, and rebellion. The moto jacket is an excellent choice for those looking to maintain a polished look while still adding a touch of edginess to their outfit.
